so, my 3 month old versa 2 was working perfectly when I went to bed last night, only for me to be woken up an hour before my alarm was due to it vibrating, and my screen flashing white.
I have somehow managed to perform a hard reset, which was interesting, because with the flashing white screen, there was no logo to see to gauge timing (my phone has detected a "new" device to set up) and it is still flashing white.
Disappointed to the Max, especially as where I live has entered major COVID restrictions, and taking this back to the retailer I bought it from is not going to be possible for at least another 6 weeks.
Located in Aus.

Hi Maria,
After allowing the Versa 2 to go completely flat, it did show the flat battery icon on the screen, which indicated to me that screen shouldn't have been faulty, and therefore there should be a way to get the device working again.
So, I charged it up and re-synced it to my phone, and it's working now.
I have done nothing to it since before making my initial post about 24 hours ago, so I'm not sure why it's working now, when it wouldn't work yesterday, it seems that now it has finally "recognised" that I performed the factory reset.
Thank you for the tip about changing the clock face, I'll keep that in mind for if it happens again.

So, this has happened another three times since my initial post.
Changing the clock face works to fix problem. I have been using the default clock face since the second time it occurred.
Today it took three clock face change attempts to fix the problem.
The device heats up significantly while in this "fault state", which is concerning if this happens while I'm asleep. How hot can this get? Am I at risk of burns?
As soon as restrictions lift in my area this is going back for a refund, I'll be looking at a different device/brand.
Bitterly disappointed.

And again, 2:30 in the morning, I woke up to my watch vibrating and the screen flashing white, and the watch heating up. 4 or 5 attempts at changing the face before giving up and taking it off to go back to sleep.
Upon waking, another 10+ changes of clock face before it finally worked.
Restrictions lift in two weeks. Then I'm done with this watch.

And. Again.
Over 100 attempts to change the clock face.
No success.
Hard reset. I'm not sure how I managed a hard reset last time, but this time, it's a no go, because I can't enter the 4 digit pin on the fitbit screen, because....
The screen is all white.
Congratulations me on having an AU $299 paperweight.
How do I get a refund on my fitbit premium subscription?

So....
I want to know how to get a refund on my premium subscription which I just paid for on the 23rd of August, after, today, the 31st of August, my Versa 2 turned into a useless, but pretty, and expensive wristband.
This is now a service I can no longer use.
