Versa 2 screen won't respond

The screen won't respond to touch. I am unable to use the watch. I have already tried the recommendations to restart the watch and change the clock face to a fit bit provided one. These interventions did not work. What is the next step to make the watch work?

That happened to mine a two days ago. Fought with it of 50 minutes to hour to get it to shutdown. Gave five minutes hoping it just needed to clear it’s memory to restart fresh. Didn’t help. Didn’t wear for a whole day and somehow it half way corrected itself or so I thought. Can swipe right to see apps. Can swipe up to see activity. Can’t swipe down to see notifications and touch screen continues to mess up trying to input my unlock pin. Had my versa 2 since late 2019 and it worked amazing until recently. It’s sad. I have really enjoyed seeing it track my days with doing two jobs. The steps really get up there. Hope there is an update to fix this sometime soon.

Hi there, @krystal.m. Welcome on board.

If you're having the same issue, please restart your watch as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope that helps.

Hi all,

After updating my tracker to the newest OS and restarting my watch one more time (held down the side button until the screen went dark), it started working. Hope this helps others!

Has the clock face thing worked for anyone? Support had me do a factory reset, which made mine even worse. It was pretty much unusable already though. They didn't suggest trying a diff clock face. I'm using a different tracker rn.

Actually, their 35% off offer isn't bad right now. Can get a Sense under $200 or a Versa 3 around $160.

Changing the clock face help a little bit. Screen is responding but swiping down to see notifications on my original clock face still isn’t working. But that suggestion did help so I am still able to use my Versa 2 for a while. But the fact that with any clock face this issue can happen to anyone is still quite concerning.

Thanks. Guess it's worth a try before just pitching mine.
