It started with a bright white line on the right hand side. Then it progressed to a white noise "square" covering some but not all of the screen. Support asked if I had followed all of the help -- I had, turning on and off, reloading, etc. Support indicated that there would be a new update that would fix this, but it was obvious even to me that this is a hardware issue not software. I waited and upgraded. No change. And by the time the upgrade was available I could not see the screen at all for the white noise. Actually that is not true. Since I'd tried changing clock faces during my time of hoping of a fix, the new clock face with a large time on it is visible for a few seconds when the Versa 2 comes on, although under the noise, then disintegrates. I'm so attached to my fitbit -- it is such a part of my daily routine -- that I ordered a Versa 3 but now I'm thinking... how old is this versa 2 anyway? I started off in 2018 with the first most inexpensive model. I upgraded and that one came apart, separating from the screen and core. I've searched and searched and there is no place to find my purchase history. Am i going to have to buy one again in a year? 2?

I just started having the same issue today. The screen looked like my TV in the 80's after midnight, the entire screen had that white noise effect. I put it on the charger to see if that would correct the issue and it seemed to at first glance but I was mistaken. Im not sure what to do at this point and my versa 2 is only 8 months old. Ill be following this thread . Best of luck

Today, out of the blue, the white noise ( and you described it perfectly as an old TV being "off line")began to disperse slightly and re-appear. When the clock face is legible there are still white lines on the right hand side but the rest is muddled, like it was smashed with bleach or ink depending on your point . I think this is a virus perhaps? Of course today I am getting a new Versa 3. I may hold off using it to see if this will resolve itself

Everything is completely gone now on the display but it still downloads data. Looking forward to trying the Versa 3
