Versa 2 screen won't respond.

Tried soft reset multiple times. No progress.

When the button is pushed the screen switches to timer stop watch but doesn't respond.

Tapping every part of the screen doesn't get a response.

Any ideas?

Hi there, @juraspark. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your Versa 2. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot it prior to posting here. I'll be glad to continue assisting you.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope that helps.

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
I have tried multiple soft reboots and they have not worked.
I have changed the watch face and still doesn't work. I have deleted the timer app as that was the only thing that when I press the side button would come up. But I could not get it to work or switch from stopwatch to timer.
When I give the button a long push it vibrates for a second. It take s holding the button for about 30 seconds to get to the fitbit logo and reboot.
I can not get to the settings as the swiping is not working with either fingers or stylus.
It lights up with arm movements and logs steps, heartbeat and calories and shows the correct date and time.
No idea why it is not working properly. I am currently waiting for it to run out of battery to see if it may resume after being charged as it was fully charged when all this started.

MarreFitbit there will be no upvotes to a moderator whom suggested only what is fitbit versa 2 screen not working 101.

Told you what I tried and you suggest I do exactly what has yet to work. Hate that I felt forced to switch to Google to access the account. I didn't sign up with Google originally, because I didn't want to. Still don't

I'm still having issues after doing what the chat lady said I did a factory reset uninstalled and re installed my watch ...I got cut off from chat tbh...its randomly changing settings on my wrist and flicking on exercises...took me yonks to set my alarm as nothing was responding on the screen. Currently waiting for it to flatten I'm on about 3% I'll do a full recharge and take it from there.... Good luck folks must be the full moon messing with our watches haha 😄

I'm thinking if mine carries on, as I think it's more that likely out of warrantly, but im gonna check when i find the box later....I'm gonna go Samsung for Xmas lol. .hated how fit bit stopped the work week hustle etc, me and my friends had a right laugh doing challenges now they've all moved to Apple or Samsung watches hmmmm !

Well, tried allowing the watch to completely drain and recharged it.
The screen still is unresponsive.
>From so many posts regarding this issue, I don't hold any hope of the watch ever working properly again. It's quite frustrating to have a regular alarm going off in the early morning and not being able to shut it off.
Been having some other Google issues lately and think that perhaps like our TV or my phone they've done an update that has more bugs than fixes.
Good luck to all who have the Versa
