Versa 2 screen won't turn on

Hi there, I have used fitbits for a long time and I bought a versa 2 in 2022 so I haven't had it too long. A couple days ago the screen stopped responding but it was still recording data and the button still worked, then this morning it was off so I turned it on and the screen glitched out and has not turned on since, I've tried charging it and holding down the button and really upset cause it shouldn't of died only after a year or a half. Is there a way I could get it repaired as I need a watch for work and I don't have the money to buy a new one (and should t have to only after a year and a half!)

Hi there, @Bananahannab. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 screen is still not turning on despite the steps you've tried so far. I understand why you're upset as your Fitbit device is not that old and you need it for work. I will do my best to help you with this.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Fingers crossed!

Hi thank you for replying, I tried both of these fixed but neither worked unfortunately 😔 the clock face on the app is stuck on switching with no sign as sticking to it and the button doesn't respond anymore. Is there a way to get the watch repaired?

Thank you

This happens to me about once a month. Irritating. I have the versa 2 and it is about 2 years old. After trying so many things, I finally changed the clock face. That seems to work. I do find that the battery is very finicky. Sometimes I only need to charge it every couple days, sometimes every 8 - 10 hours. I had an Inspire 2 for four years and never had the problems I am having with the Versa 2. I hope you find a helpful resolution.

so glad I found this post, as I am having the exact same problem as the other people, so obviously there is an issue, as nothing works to fix it.  Is there any other suggestions since?

Thank you
