Versa 2 screen won't turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa 2 suddenly won't turn on. My app says it has a charge but the screen won't turn on at all, even when I place it in the charger. It doesn't vibrate when being placed in the charger either. The HR light on the back isn't on.

I have already tried to restart it by holding down the left button for 10 seconds. It didn't work.

There is an update available but I don't update since the device isn't on and isn't being recognized by my phone.

What else can I do or is it just dead? Its only 5 months old.

Hello there @Zutley, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa 2's screen behavior. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot your watch prior to posting here, I'll be glad to help you.

Since the steps you've tried didn't work, I recommend doing a factory reset:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Hello there @Missys455, thanks for stopping by. The back button is the only button on the left side of your Versa. For an image and description of the functionality of the buttons, see the Versa manual page. 19, click here to check it out.
