Versa 2 screen wont swipe

I was advised to do a factory reset to see if that would help resolve my inability to swipe, however, I cannot do the reset without being able to swipe. I have only had this since Christmas and for a month now, it wont swipe! Please help!

Regarding the swiping issues that your Versa's display is experiencing, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try the steps below in order to factory reset your Versa 2, which is another way to perform this process:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, check out your watch and see if the issue gets fixed.

The factory reset didnt work and now it is stuck on the screen depicted in
the photo. The swipe doesn't work and now it won't let me tap okay either.
HELP!

Continued to try several times and consistently says "Data not cleared Sync and try again"
