Versa 2 setup issues

I just got this thing yesterday and I can't pair it with my phone. My phone can see it but when I click to pair it I get the message 'Paring Rejected by Versa 2'.

 

It's a Moto X4 running Android 9, so it's on the list of compatible devices and the operating system is higher than the required 7. Does anyone have an idea?

I am sorry for the delay in respond. I would like to know if you keep having issues pairing your watch? If so, I recommend taking a look at the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
