Versa 2 showing incorrect workout duration

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Today my Versa 2 exercise details on the app for my workout shows time exercised as 9:34 to 10:15, yet it shows 28 minutes duration and 56 zone minutes. Both should show 41 minutes as that was the length of my workout. This is the first time I’ve seen this discrepancy. How can I fix it so future workouts register correctly?

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you tracked the activity using your Versa 2 exercise shortcuts or with the SmartTrack auto-recognition feature? In other words, you saw such incorrect data directly on your device after concluding the activity or in the Fitbit app after syncing your Versa 2? Moreover, which activity were you performing? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device and troubleshoot the app with the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Looking forward to your reply.

I tracked the activity using the exercise shortcut "Workout". That's what
I use every time and I don't look at the data on the Versa 2 when I'm
finished. I check it in the app after syncing. I did all your suggestions
this morning so I'll see what happens during my workout today and let you
know the results later today. Thanks for your help!

@SunsetRunner -

I cannot speak to the duration issue. I'll let @RicardoFitbit do that. Unless, of course, you had pauses in the exercise lasting a total of 13 minutes.

Regarding the zone minutes-

For Active Zone Minutes, you receive one Active Zone Minute for each minute that your average heart rate for that minute is in the Fat Burn Zone. You receive two Active Zone Minutes for each minute your average heart rate is in either the Cardio or Peak zone.

So, if your exercise was somewhat strenuous, getting your heart rate into your Cardio zone for at least 15 minutes of the exercise, the 56 zone minutes would seem reasonable.

If you were below zone for any time, I would expect one more minute in Cardio for each two minutes below zone. Your exercise record should show minutes in each zone, with a recap of zone minutes below it.

I hope the above explains the zone data for you.
