Versa 2 side button not working

Hi, I have a Versa 2 & the side button has not working. I have tried the usual maintainence (cleaned the button, shutdown/restarted & charging) but no improvement. Does anyone have any other suggestions please?

Hi there @AnnaTerrWelcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa.

I recommend trying to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.

Once you've done that, please restart your Versa by following these steps How do I restart my Fitbit device?

The button seems stuck and unable to retract. Even after the suggested cleaning methods it has not moved.

I have this same problem with mine and the touch screen has also stopped responding. Contacted customer support and apparently there’s nothing they can do about it 😤

I only had this one replaced by Fitbit in February because the front of my Fitbit face was coming away from the back!
