My watch keeps flashing on and off the logo screen. I’ve tried pushing and holding the button on the left to no avail.

Nightmare… same thing happening to my Versa 2. I can’t get it to do anything, flashing the logo all night long. Tried turning it off and on with long press on side button, but still non responsive. Totally frustrated now.

Hi @jamoulder - as a first step remove the watch entries from all Bluetooth devices so that it can't find an app.

If it still reboots it may have a fault. You can try a factory reset with the button to see if you can set it up again. Depending on the cause it may or may not work.

You can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support to get help with that process.

Hi there, @jamoulder. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
  • Once your Versa 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

If none of the above seems to work, please follow @Guy_'s advice and
chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

this resolved the matter for an hour. Now I am back to the Fitbit icon on my watch. It’s very annoying. I’ve spent 3 hours over the last two days trying to resolve this issue.

I get mine to work for a while then it does it again... this is my 5th fitbit in 6 years... I think it may be time to move on at this point.
