Versa 2 sleep score inconsistent

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I just got a Versa 2, I wear it all the time, unless its charging. It’s synced. Some mornings I get a sleep score and sometimes I don’t. How do I make sure I get one?

Thanks.

It's great to see you here, @GreenHouse201.

I am sorry for the delay in respond. You must see sleep stages to see a sleep score. For more information, see What should I know about sleep stages?. If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score:

  • Note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear.
  • Update the Fitbit app to the latest version. For instructions, see About the Fitbit app.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂

Hi Alejandra. Thanks for your reply. I didn't reply immediately because I
wanted to start from scratch - I restored my Fitbit versa 2 to factory
settings and removed the app from my iphone, and then started all over
again.

I still don't see sleep stages or get a sleep score! I have no idea why -
I'm beginning to think there is something wrong with my Fitbit.

I get I get the total time I slept, and the breakdown how often I was
restless or awake.

I do NOT get any information on deep sleep, REMS, etc. And I do NOT get a
sleep score.

Is there something wrong with my Fitbit?

Thanks very much -

Your sleep score appears on your phone (once you have the app installed) not on your Fitbit. On the dashboard, click on the moon with the z to see your sleep. Click on each individual blue line to see the quality of the sleep.

Thank you. I'm sorry to be a pain! I am on the app on my iphone. I do see a
moon with a z, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

There is a purple circle around the moon/z, but it's not complete (It goes
3/4 of the way around the moon/z). Could that suggest that my fitbit isn't
fully syncing with my iphone/app? I've manually synced it today (and it's
set to sync on its own).

Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it!

Is  your heart rate enabled?  I know you probably assumed it was as previous fitbits always came enabled but that was the problem with my sleep issues

Thanks for asking. Yes, it's enabled.

I have read that other people get sleep scores (and the related
information) if the do NOT indicate "begin sleep now" on their apps. I'm
going to try that tonight. Maybe the fix is that simple (albeit
non-intuitive).

I appreciate your suggestion - thanks again.

I've noticed that my Versa is now frequently not recording a sleep score on my phone. I've found that if I sign on to Fitbit on my computer or iPad, it will show a full sleep score for the week and then it feeds the information to my Versa. Not optimal, but it seems to work. I also reset it to "sensitive."

Thank you!
The last two nights I’ve gotten a sleep score. I followed some other suggestions and did NOT tell the app (iPhone) that I was going to sleep. I just got into bed. For whatever reason, that worked. It’s counterintuitive - there’s probably a bug in the app that needs to be fixed. But I now know my sleep stages, etc.

Will try tonight as I always turn on & off sleep. So will see if automatic works with the sleep score. Very intermittent recording. Agree appears to be a bug
