A couple of months ago my Versa 2 starting randomly showing the incorrect time - which would correct when I would put the unit on the charge and then restart with the reset option. I was not updating my time zones, I wasn't traveling, and the time difference wasn't a full hour usually - maybe 45 minutes. Odd, huh?
Then a couple of weeks ago the reset would not update the time. Everything was charged fine. I tried to sync with my phone hoping that would update the time. Nope- the unit would not sync to the FB app. I've followed the guidance of the uninstall, reinstall, turn off bluetooth, turn back on, uninstall app, reinstall app, turn off phone, restart phone, reset fitbit, etc. Ad nauseum.
But here's the thing - the Bluetooth works. I'm getting my text messages from my verizon phone forwarded to the Versa 2.
Does anyone have any suggestion of what to try next?
Thanks.

Hi @CallmeLucy - if your watch keeps losing time then it has a fault [replaceable under warranty] but is still usable if you sync regularly, but syncing can be problematic with the new V4 Fitbit App which means the watch doesn't get it's time reset.
In the Fitbit App, App Settings turn off automatic time zone, manually select another time zone and sync - then set the correct time zone and sync again and then set automatic time zone on again. With any luck when you sync your time should get updated but this depends on how well/often the watch syncs.

Thanks, Guy -I really appreciate your assistance. Ultimately I believe that Fitbit has relegated my fully functioning, no issues until their crazy update watch to the status of a paperweight.
They don't seem to care, either. They just keep telling me my watch is out of warranty.
I appreciate your assistance very much.
