Versa 2 stopped receiving notifications

How do I get my versa2 to display my messages and incoming calls again? It just stopped one day when i charged it

Hi there, @Kmartens. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. 

May I know if the Sleep Mode and DND settings are turned off? If these settings are on, your tracker won't vibrate or turn on when receiving any type of notifications. You'll find more details about these settings here. Also, make sure the Show Previews is set to Always or When Unlocked for your preferred apps under your phone's settings > Notifications.

If the issue persists after double checking the above settings, give a try to the following:

1. Forget your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth settings nearby.
3. Force quit the Fitbit app and restart your Versa 2 one more time.
4. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
5. Try receiving a call or text notification to test your tracker.

I am facing similar problem of not getting any notifications on my Versa 2. It happens on the 2nd day onwards of reinstalling the app in phone. Only a text in red saying "notification service is disabled. A phone restart is required." is shown in the app.

I have tried following things multiple times till now:

1. Restart phone

2. Restart Versa 2

3. Unpaid Versa 2 & repair

4. Unpaid Versa 2, uninstall Fitbit app from phone, reinstall fitbit app & repair Versa 2.

5. Disable & enable notifications.

But none of these have worked. Recently I got a firmware update but still the tracker has stopped showing notifications since the 2nd of firmware update.
