Versa 2 stopped syncing and now won't boot

Earlier this week my Versa 2 stopped syncing with my Pixel 4.  I checked bluetooth on both devices.  I removed the fitbit from the app, and then when I tried to add it in again, the app would find it, but couldn't connect.  I tried removing and reinstalling the app, same results.  Today I tried resetting the fitbit to factory defaults and now it won't boot up at all.  I just get the fitbit logo for a few seconds then it fades away.

For your sync problem - Have you tried logging out of the Fitbit App, restarting both watch and phone.

Can you see if this simple Sync tip works perhaps?

If you did a factory rest you need to reinstall the watch see post.

Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices on nearby.

I tried logging in and out, have not tried the tip yet.  However I still can't get the watch to connect to my phone.  Using the fitbit app, I can find the watch, but can't connect to it.

@Myq13  It won't reconnect after a factory reset unless you did the setup again of the watch suggested earlier.

@Myq13  If its getting stuck in setup you need to

  • Remove the watch from your Bluetooth on the phone
  • Remove your watch  from your Fitbit account in the App
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth. Setup your watch again, with "+ Set up a device"
  • If there is no connection, restart your watch.
