I guess I was too quick to be happy...just opened the app to check something and now the watch refuses to sync with my phone... I am honestly so done with all of this. As soon as I can afford it I'm getting a different brand, fitibit sucks..
PS: the app keeps crashing as well and closes by itself. Tried to unpair the device via Bluetooth and now it can't connect at all. Just amazing.

Ugh, that’s disappointing...but sadly I wasn’t expecting miracles. Doubtless it won’t sync because it’s not updated with the latest firmware (maybe?).
Let us know if you have any success moving forward.

@MikePC I'm pretty sure it's because of the update 🙄 another way to force you to downlad it .. I guess I'll just suck it up and use it as a basic watch while I save up money again to get something different. It's so upsetting..

According to downdetector there might be something wrong with fitbit's servers today. Syncing is not working regardless of the device, unfortunately. (so this might not be related to the firmware)

@sara_d_acosta I really hope that's the case because otherwise it would be very annoying. Because the new firmware messes up with the device making it pretty unusable and not having it makes the app unusable 😂 kind of leaves you stuck.

Just saw a post on Reddit asking if Fitbit’s servers were down, so there I suppose is the answer for now...again if you could please let me (us) know how things progress once that’s ironed out...!!
