Versa 2 stopped tracking GPS runs correctly

At first I just thought there was a GPS dead spot at the start of the trail I run on,  however I did a neighborhood run today that I know is 1.2 miles and it hadn't even logged a mile before I was going to stop. It seems to be dropping  .2-.5 miles when I run.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this happening with any exercise or a specific one? Because your Versa 2 uses the GPS chip of your phone with the Connected-GPS feature to route the activity, can you please specify which phone are you using? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device and check: How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
