Versa 2 stopped working

I received a Versa 2 as a Christmas present & now it doesn't work.  I've tried the recommended reboot, but that hasn't helped.  Does this mean that the battery has run out?  If so, how do I go about getting a replacement one?  I don't want to replace the device, as it was a gift & the devices aren't cheap.

Sounds more like its not charging.
