My Versa 2 is 2 years old and Fitbit is telling me I need to buy a new one because the screen randomly started having flashing lines. If you restart it it goes away and then comes back shortly after. Hugely disappointed with the service and product.

Hi there, @Joannepeter. Welcome to the Community Forums. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.
Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Your device is out of the warranty period, and therefore is not eligible for repair or replacement, but we want to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.
For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty or please feel free to contact our team back so they can clarify any doubt.
I've moved your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches board for organization purposes.
Thanks for your understanding. Have a nice day.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

The discount you offered means nothing. The discount just covers the duty I will have to pay to purchase from you directly. I will pay the same if I purchase directly here in Canada. You make it sound like you are offering something but you are not. That is what makes me so angry..

I am having the same problem. I can't restart the watch as when I hold down the button the screen just goes black and nothing happens

Unless you are still under warranty. Fitbit will do nothing. Mine is two years old and I threw it in the garage today..

I dont have an apple phone. So there's that lol. But thanks. This is my 3rd fitbit and they honestly seem to last only a year and a half or 2 which sucks because they are nit cheap.

Yes there is a reason they only offer a one year warranty because they fail shortly after that. I have purchased 4 plus many bands and this is the way they treat their Canadian customers..

I am officially done with Fitbit. Worst service ever! I purchased an Apple Watch. Good luck to all Fitbit owners…
