Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit logo

Hi, I had Fitbit over a year now.

I had a swim yesterday evening, and after that I realised that my Fitbit was shutdown.

Thinking that it might ran out of battery, so charged it after drying it.

After a little when I checked the Fitbit logo in blinking in loop and never got into the next page.

Tried few things:

  • Pressed for about 10 second to restart but no vibration and the loop continues
  • Unpaired from Fitbit app, unpaired from phone Bluetooth and uninstalled the app
  • Reinstalled the app but unable to pair my versa 2, though followed all the instructions on how to restart a Fitbit versa 2.

Kindly help.

  • Thank you in advance!

Hi there, @eleelezekiel. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

As our last resort, I'd suggest performing a factory reset by following the steps below (please make sure that your Versa 2 is no longer paired to your phone's Bluetooth before performing this step):

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Hi @MarreFitbit, thank you for the guideline.

I tried it but there is no vibration and Fitbit logo is appearing every few seconds.
