Versa 2 stuck on message "Data not cleared, Sync & Tried again"

my fitbit versa two stopped syncing two weeks ago, I reset the device and tried to set it up again on my phone but it wouldnt connect. it says found device but wont connect. Iv tried troubleshooting many times, logged out, done everything I can. It pops up on bluetooth every now and again but wont connect to it. It now reads dara not cleared sync and try again with a big red x on the screen. Any advice would be amazing thank you

Hi there, @sersp. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 is still unresponsive. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note the message you're receiving usually appears when you performed a factory reset without first unpairing your watch from your phone's Bluetooth settings.

With that being said, I'd recommend trying the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
