Versa 2 Stopped Synching via WiFi and Reset

I began having some issues with my Versa 2 about a week ago. I noticed that it shut off completely and wouldn't synch with my iPhone. I brought it back home and put it in the charger to re-set it. I thought all was well. I then used it the next day and it shut off again.

I connected the Versa to the charger again and attempted a factory reset. Then completed the reset process over Bluetooth because the watch / phone didn't connect to the 5g Wifi network in my apartment. The watch reset. I attempted to download an update. It was incredibly slow over Bluetooth.

Now I can't  remove the watch at all from the charger. Sometimes the screen flashes on. But it indicates that the battery is at 0%.

Hi @notdaveng, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the syncing and screen issues that your Versa 2 has experienced. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid providing the same information, let me know how the factory reset was performed. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it turns on properly.

In case the syncing issue persists, follow the steps listed in this help article. Finally, monitor your watch during the next 24 hours and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi @JuanJoFitbit. I've attempted those steps prior to posting in the forum. I confirm that I have also factory reset my watch without any success.

Hi @notdaveng, thank you for trying the steps previously shared. Please let me know if you performed the factory reset as advised below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, set up your watch from scratch and see if it works properly.

Let me know how it goes.
