Versa 2 syncing issue with phone's Bluetooth

I am having the same problem others have reported.  I have had the Versa 2 for 4 days now and it has disconnected from Bluetooth every day.  I have reinstalled the app, have all-day sync turned on, my phone is compatible with the list.  I have restarted tons of times.  Removed the device and readded it etc...

 

I have to go through the setup process again, usually many times until my phone finds the device then it works for a few hours and I have to go through it all over again.  The Fitbit app on the phone reports that it can't find the device and I go back down the rabbit hole.  

 

I really love the Versa 2 when it's working, but obviously I will need to return it if this isn't fixed soon.  I simply can't be expected to spend this much time with it every day.  Upgrading from my Charge 2 the finally died and it never disconnected from Bluetooth.  

 

Fitbit please fix!!!  I want to keep my Versa!

Regarding the connection issue that your Fitbit Versa 2 is experiencing with your phone's Bluetooth, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via chat after you started this thread. I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue got fixed.

Good Morning JuanJo -

I was told that was the case had been escalated for resolution. I received
an article on troubleshooting steps that I have already gone through
several times. I was a little disappointed that my case being escalated to
a higher support tier just means that they forward me troubleshooting steps.

My Versa 2 still disconnects from Bluetooth intermittently -I am dealing
with it for the moment because I'm trying very hard to keep the watch and
not return it. When it works with the app, I love it I need to make a
decision soon as my return window is running out.

I appreciate you reaching out, but no, my issue has not been resolved -

I have the same problem with a Nokia 8.1. Sometimes they sync well for a couple of hours and then... the devices seem to forget that they are connected... returned to store and tomorrow i'll get a new one but i'm afraid it will not be a solution. With my Charge 3 there never was a problem...
