Hi, the last days i have syncing problems with my versa 2, i think it stopped syncing after a app update, i have a android phone. thing is it still syncs sometimes when i put it on a charger and i think that's because i have the fitbit dongle in my computer, or maybe because it syncs via wifi. i have tried restarting my versa 2 and my phone, it works sometimes, like 1 out of 10 times. i have also tried re-installing the app, but nada.
any ideas what to do?

I've been having similar problems with my Charge 2. I contacted Fitbit and apparently it's a software problem between Fitbit and Android 9. I am disappointed as it all worked fine until last week. I was going to upgrade to a Versa but don't think I will be doing so now.

You're not alone, Daniel. I'm having the same problem right now with my Versa 2. I wish I could put a finger on what might be the issue, but sadly I think this may be a software problem. I've tried multiple things to fix my issue:
* Force stop the fitbit app on my phone.
* Restart my phone.
* Restart my Versa 2.
* Uninstall fitbit app and reinstall.
* Remove "Versa 2" from fitbit app and resync/reconnect.
* "Reset all connections" on my phone (effectively wipes all wifi/bluetooth connections).
* Factory reset my "Versa 2".
None of those have worked long-term. I have to effectively force stop my fitbit app once a day to get the thing to sync up with my watch, which is becoming exponentially frustrating the more I have to do it. As much as I like the functionality of the Versa 2, I'm not able to recommend it for the syncing issues alone.

Omg exact same here and have done all of that as well! I even went and returned one and got a new one thinking it was the watch! But no, my second has the same issues. Including the water logging bug.
However my brother and sis in law have them too (but apple phones and have had no issues what so ever and we're shocked I had any at first) I haven't had the heart to tell them they're continuing after he returned the watch for me. (They got me it as a gift for Christmas)
What I'm wondering is if everyone who is having these issues has an Android or basically using something other than an iphone/ apple product?

Got a new versa in Dec. Useless product. Will never ever buy another Fitbit product. Rather buy a basic Polar..my Fitbit sync is faulty..GPS doesn't work... distance is incorrect. Export files doesn't work. A real waste of hard earned money. And no one in South Africa has enough knowledge to assist. Very disappointed.

Android can't sync with my Versa 2!

I also noticed after the last firmware update that my Versa is not syncing. It has also stopped tracking my sleep and heart rate. I have done everything except reset the Versa to factory settings.

Having this same issue with my Versa syncing to my Lg Stylo 2 (Android 7). 2 months ago I was sent a replacement and told that should fix the issue. Did not. I am now being told that there are only 3 LG devices (V10, G6, G8) that have been fully tested with FitBit and if I do not have one of those, which I don't, then they can not do anything about it. Very frustrated!!!

I have the V40 ThinQ phone. Android Version 9. The last Patch to the phone was Jan 1, 2020. and then tracking my sleep stopped. My phone is a 4G. I guess I will return my Versa.
