I am updating my new Versa 2 and I am on hour 3 and a little over half way done. Any way to speed this process along?

Hello @Ativan11111, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, seems odd that your Versa 2 is taking that long to complete the firmware update. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Please keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

My upgrade have taken over 5 hours. It has been stuck on downloading 100% for over 30 minutes even though it says 5 minutes.

It finally finished after another hour. I will say so far I LOVE this device.

I'm about 4 hour in right now, I am getting really annoyed with it honestly. a little over half way done now, it also wont attach to Wifi, so I have to do it through blue tooth. Good to know the wait is worth it though.

Thank you for the additional review!

I saw a similar issue too with my new Versa 2. I stopped the update by force quitting the app. Then I followed the instructions on this page https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2233.htm to connect to Wifi. After connecting to Wifi the update completed in about 2 minutes. I think Fitbit should show a warning to users about the slow Bluetooth connection, which seems to be the default. Had I known beforehand I would have first connected my device to Wifi right away and saved 30 minutes of my time.
