Versa 2 text messages

I am receiving all notifications except for text messages. I have everything up to date. And I have tried everything recommended. I have a Samsung galaxy s10. I have had this versa 2 for 3 or 4 months. I called fitbit, they said there is nothing they can do for me at this time . They said there trying to fix this issue . I was wondering if anyone has had a solution for this problem yet.

I got Versa 2 for Christmas and I also have a Samsung 10.  I got everything to work including receiving text messages for about a week then I no longer received text messages.  Like you, I called and basically received the same information that you got.   I updated my Versa on Friday, Jan 31 and then started getting my text messages again but that was short lived it only lasted 1 day.  I am so frustrated.  I hope this is fixed soon.

I've had the Versa 2 for about 6 weeks. I have a Samsung Galaxy s10+ and use the Messages app for texts. All notifications are turned on and enabled within the Fitbit app. I have enabled all permissions within the phone's settings. I have show text preview turned on. I have deleted the versa from my Bluetooth paired devices and repaired it. I have reset the Fitbit. Turned my phone off and on. My Fitbit received an update today and I thought for sure they would have fixed and addressed the issue. Not the case for me.

Spotify half works now though. I can see playlists, etc now, but can't actually play anything. Argh.

SO disappointed.

When I first got the watch, texts worked for like a day and then stopped. So weird.

I installed Google Messages and set it as the default messaging app.  Notifications from text messages now come through on the Versa 2.  This is absolutely not a preferred long term fix.  I want to be able to use the stock Samsung app for messages.  But it's a temporary work around that solves the problem for now.

Thanks for the input. Haven't tested it for long but it does look like
Google Messages works with receiving text notifications. Not sure I'll
stick with this work around but good to know it's an option. Hopefully they
get this sorted out soon with the default Messages app. Thanks!
