Versa 2 touch screen isn't working

This is my second watch (2 months old) after my first stopped working after 3 weeks. It’s back to working normally mow but for a few days the touch stopped working and I couldn’t start any of my workouts. It also kept restarting itself and being very slow. After a manual restart is working again but is this common and should I be manually restarting it often?

Hello there @Kim_Haines, welcome to the Community Forums. If the touch screen of your Versa 2 isn't working, you can reset it as follows:

  1. Hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Hello there @Eloisecraventod, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa 2's screen behavior. Thanks for taking the time to restart your watch prior to posting here, I'll be glad to help you.

Since this is not an expected behavior, I'd like you to confirm that you've restarted your Versa 2 as described here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If so, please reboot your watch by opening the Settings app About > Shutdown > confirm the shutdown.

Is there another way to reset as the touchscreen is not working therefore I cannot restart the device
