My Versa 2 fitbit screen one day no longer responded to touch or barely responded. After trying all the recommended fixes (eg. Hold reset button on Fitbit for 10 sec, make sure App updated, etc) still didn't work. So frustrating!
I've now figured out HOW TO FIX EASILY.
1. Open Fitbit App on your phone
2. Click on the Settings cog (top right hand corner)
3. Choose Third Party Apps / Smartwatch Apps & Clock Faces
4. Click on Clocks
5. Scroll down to Free Clocks / See all
6. Click on the Search icon. Type in "Amy"
7. All clocks by Amy will display. I chose Floral, which displayed everything beautifully, was free and resolved the screen issue! (I donated a few dollars b/c I was so grateful)
I hope this helps!

Hi @Athenagoddess - when a watch doesn't respond to touch the recommended actions are to restart the watch and/or change to another clock face.
This generally works unless the watch has the beginning of a hardware fault. Sometimes it is the OS itself, resolved by a factory reset.

Hi Guy,
Thanks so much for your reply! My watch WAS fixed, then within 3 hrs of changing to a new clock face, it stopped responding to touch again! Grrr!... I tried a watch reset already (hold the button for 10 sec until the Fitbit logo shows up and restarts the watch). If it's the hardware fault, the OS (Operating System) itself, can you describe how you did a factory reset? Was that on the watch itself? Or the App software on your smartphone? Thanks!

@Athenagoddess- unfortunately it is more likely, to be a hardware problem, if you have restarted the watch and changed the clock face and the problem came back, given this intermittent nature.
It is still possible to factory reset it [as opposed to a simple restart] but it isn't without risk. It may fail during the reset or the setup as a replacement watch.
If you go ahead via the watch Settings, About Versa 2 menu, wait 5 minutes for it to complete before doing anything. (It can also be done done via the button if necessary.)
It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks or apps and any special watch or app settings you use before a factory reset and to sync it with the Fitbit App first so you don't lose data.
