Versa 2 touchscreen issues

This has happened over the past week where I will go to check my watch and it will be restarting randomly and when I wake up to my alarm it has messed up in various ways but I’m only concerned about the most recent when it wouldn’t let me stop the alarm. I’ve tried restarting and updating it but nothing seems to work.

I'd like to follow up and assist you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since the touchscreen is not working properly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, monitor your the touchscreen and see if the issue gets fixed.
