Versa 2 tracking steps inaccurately

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got my Versa 2 3 days ago. I understand the explanation about bmr calories and am not concerned about that. It is registering steps when I move my arm. It does the same on both arms. My sleep setting is set at normal, not sensitive. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

@Dneil0460, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since it's not tracking your steps accurately.

I'd like you to check out this help article, which explains more information how your Fitbit device track steps and what affects the step counting.

In case the issue persists, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, monitor your Versa and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Unfortunately, this did not help. I also restarted my watch. I finally went in to the mobile app settings and turned off step tracking notification.

Very disappointed that disconnect was your final solution. I’ve had my Versa 2 for a week and step counting was perfect until today - now no steps recoded; all other stats (HB, Actvity, distance...) tracking accurate. I hope this lack of FitBit response is not an indicator of what to expect after the Google takeover is complete. I know my response doesn’t help help you, but maybe this will wake up the thread and we’ll both be notified if a better solution is available.
