Hi,
Everything worked fine until a couple of days ago. Suddenly the Fitbit app stopped showing my spO2 in Health Metrics, and says I need to download the spO2 clockface. The thing is, that clockface is installed and has been for months.
I've tried reinstalling the app, reinstalling the clockface, and resetting my Versa 2 to factory. Nothing fixes it!
The spO2 clockface is showing my O2 readings no problem, but the app (latest version, Android) just doesn't think I have the clockface installed!
I'm having the same exact issue and came here hoping for a solution. Your post could have been written by me. My spO2 clockface is also showing the readings, but the app is not recognizing that the clockface is installed. I've had it installed and it's worked properly for many months, until just a couple of days ago. I'll be watching this topic, hoping the issue gets resolved soon!
Hi. Similar problem here.
For some reasons my Fitbit Versa 2 is no longer showing my SpO2. The graph in my stats says “I should download a special clock face” - but I am already using the special clock face so don’t understand.
On my watch it shows “recording SpO2 after I wake up then it shows 98% every day which is impossible cos I know it changes every day depending on how I sleep, so it can’t be the same range every day for over a week now…it’s surely inaccurate.
Can somebody help? I reset my watch already, also deleted and re installed the app but it’s the same…I have also checked that all permissions are ticked for the spo2 clock face. I am wearing the watch correctly as I have always been wearing it.
Many thanks,
Tom
I have this problem also with the health matrix app for the last 3 days. Contacted support on Sat July17, 2021 went through all the steps they suggested. Made sure the app was up to date, reset my versa 2. Was then told to see if it works after a night sleep. Still nothing for SpO2 in the health matrix. All other parts of the health matrix works fine so far. Versa 2 clock face shows SpO2.
The case # given by support is 41822982
Got a response from their tech team, basically they know about the issue and hopefully they fix it soon.
“Hi Tom,
It was nice chatting with you today.
We'd like to let you know that the SpO2 data on your Versa 2 is also part of the known issues for the missing SpO2 data on Fitbit app.
We hope for your understanding on this. If you have any other concerns with our service or Fitbit devices, visit help.fitbit.com.
Sincerely,
Mark Andrew and the Fitbit Team”
I’m having the same problem. I noticed oxygen variation overnight went flat, I restarted my Fitbit and it’s showing variability while sleeping now, but health metrics still thinks the clock face isn’t installed. Glad to know reinstalling clockface doesn’t change anything as that was going to be my next attempt
Did they give any timeline on fixing it? Surely they can figure out what code they broke?
I’m on iPhone. No recent updates. Nothing changed on my phone or device prior to this issue starting.
