I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro and my phone won't sync notifications with my watch, and I see the error message 'Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your trackers'. I have restarted my phone and also reset factory settings and this has not solved my problem. Is this a known issue and how do I go about resolving it?

Your phone is not on the Approved Devices list so may work for some functions and not others.

It worked when I first got the watch. I used to receive WhatsApp and call notifications, and when it updated, I just seem to get this error message?
