Versa 2 water logging issue

The fitbit app incorrectly syncs water logged on my Versa 2. 

 

When I enter an amount in ml on my Versa 2, the app incorrectly shows a much larger amount in ml as if I had entered a fl oz amount on my Versa 2.

 

eg:

 

I enter 200ml on my watch

Fitbit app shows 5914.71ml

 

5914.71ml is equivalent to 200oz, so the app is not recognising that the unit of measure on my watch is in ml.

I was in contact with Customer Support and they could not resolve the issue.

 

I was told to log my water consumption on my phone, or switch to oz.

 

Neither is a solution.
