After the latest update, my Fitbit Versa 2 will not scroll. I then saw a post from Tech News that said,”DO NOT UPDATE BUG MAKES FITBIT VERSA 2 UNUSABLE AFTER INSTALLING UPDATE” Unfortunately it did. Now I cannot scroll. I called for help and was told to change the clock face and this did nothing. I could hardly understand the person because they were not in the Us. They said I had to keep calling until I got someone in the Us which I was unable to get. They are suppose to email me tomorrow with an answer. This is a terrible way to support customers, The chat was a waste because I was asked to provide a credit card for $1 which would be refundable. It sounded like a scam. I like my Fitbit but not their support because it is lacking.

This is also affecting me. I went on a trip and left my phone at home, so many of my inputted stat(water intake) was only kept until the device ran out of room. When I got home and was able to synch, everything seemed to be fine. However, two days ago, I started having trouble with inputtin my water, due to not scrolling accurately. Now, the watch will not scroll. I tried installin/re-installing a new watch face from the app on phone. It installed, but still unable to scroll.

I am also experiencing problems with the touch screen on my Versa 2. I can’t swipe any way to see any of my stats so now the watch is only resembling a standard digital watch! Fitbit need to get this sorted out. These issues are becoming more and more and I’m even more tempted to get a garmin as a replacement.

Ah this thread explains a lot! I never seen any info/posts on the update causing this damage. My watch just randomly stopped working about 3-4 weeks ago. Screen isn't even scratched so I was confused. It has been driving me mad & no reply from Fitbit!
They need to get thos sorted as it's not out fault they have an update that causes a virus. No wonder so many people changing to Garmin these days

Checkout how Tech News warned people not to do the update because bug makes Fitbit Versa 2 unusable.

They recalled the Iconic Fitbit due to burn issues from the lithium battery and the Force Fitbit for another problem and after a CBS investigation they admitted a firmware update affected some of the Charge 3Fitbits.
I am hoping for an update that might fix my problem

I just read many comments from 2020 where people in the Fitbit community had the same problem and were told to change their clock face and restart it several times, but non of these worked. They are now giving these same suggestions in Oct 2022. The company needs to be responsible for the same things happening again.
I am hoping for an update that might fix my problem

I have just done an update this week and this has happened to me!! Fitbit have just offered me money off a new one!? I can’t afford a new one right now! This is terrible service. This appears to be a known fault with the update! They need to sort it. Did you ever get anywhere with getting it fixed?
