I have a versa 2 and it will not turn on. I put it on the charger and left there for 24 hours thinking it was dead. But all it does is show the fitbit logo on the charger or off the charger.

@Pbollerud, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Versa 2 since it won't take a charge and shows the Fitbit logo only when on the charger.
Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

Did you guys get a fix? Seems to be common problem and it is very frustrating as I have only had mine for a couple weeks. Makes me feel like and idiot for talking my Husband into allowing me to get it.

Hi,
Is it detected by the app?
Did you try syncing to check if it is a screen issue or the band is dead?

Great @SheilaT64 . It seems the contact points were dirty prevented the charging. A good point and possibly would lead others to solve this issue if similar.

@holby24just try cotton or lint-free cloth and clean the copper contact points on both charger and watch. Also, make sure all contact points are in place and they were not scratched off.
