having trouble connecting my device to my wifi, my router is broadcasting both 2.4g and 5g.
I have even tried to manually add the network with WPA instead of WPA2 still no luck.
its automatically trying to ping WPA2 and not going back to WPA.
how did u guys fix this? btw I live in UK and using Virgin media router.

Hi @lordkin89, welcome to the community.
Is your router actually broadcasting two separate SSIDs, one for the 2.4ghz network and one for the 5ghz network? Some routers broadcast the two networks using the same SSID which I find can cause issues, the most obvious being that you can't easily see which network you are trying to connect to. For what it's worth I have VM at home myself and have no issues connecting the Versa 2, I do have two separate SSIDs though so that I can ensure I'm definitely trying to connect to the 2.4ghz network.

Thanks for the reply m8, that did help, I think my 2.4ghz SSID has wpa2 security on default. and I think this might be the issue, anyway, after changing the security type to WPA I did manage to get the wifi connected to Versa 2, thanks for your help.
