I would like to know what is the brand and model of your phone.

In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, monitor your watch and see if it syncs properly.

Regarding the update issue, is about the firmware update?

IPA syncs to watch but won’t find our WiFi for music download used to work just find until google
