Versa 2 won't connect to computer

I received mine yesterday.  Set it up on my phone but cannot get it to connect with the Fitbit app on my computer.  #1: there is no option to chose a Versa 2 in setup.  I downloaded the Fitbit app in the Microsoft store this morning so it must be the latest version.  #2: although my Bluetooth pairs with the versa the app can't seem to see it.  I've done all the things the app said to try.  ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately the Versa 2 will only work with the apps on iOS or Android. This is their first tracker that doesn't support the Windows app

Then how am I supposed to transfer music to my fitbit when it keeps telling me to use the fitbit desktop app to transfer music?  Is there another app that I'm missing?

Oh, btw, now if I hit transfer music on the versa 2 it connects but there's no option in the app for transferring music. I am sooooo confused!

Music transfer is via the Fitbit Connect software rather than the fitbit app. Downloading music is a bit complicated. Their guide may help: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2251/

Been there, done that.  That's what I have installed from following that link. No option for a Versa 2 setup.  UGH.

I've not done it myself so I'm on uncertain ground but my understanding is that you need an android or iOS device to setup the Versa 2 (I used an android table) as you cannot set it up under Windows. Then, once set up you need to install Fitbit Connect under windows to load music.

I solved it!  I googled fitbit connect and found this link https://fitbit-connect.en.lo4d.com/windows .  Downloaded and installed that and it works!  Listening to music now!

you must use the old fitbit connect it is the light blue app
