Versa 2 won't pair to bluetooth

My Versa 2 won't pair to the bluetooth on my new Samsung a51 phone. It syncs all the data to the app but when trying to physically connect to bluetooth it has a message that "this device needs an app". Can't connect to spotify, read txts etc but my steps etc sync to my phone. Have done all the suggested quick fixes but nothing work. Any suggestions?

The Fitbit app does the syncing, In the phone Fitbit App pull down refresh to start it looking and then

 

 

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Sync -

See when last synced

Try refresh by touching circle

it should say "a moment ago"

 

If there is/was a problem it will prompt to pair.

If still not working logout of the app and log back in and repeat.
