Versa 2 won't pair to my phone's Bluetooth

My Fitbit keeps coming up with pair and as many times as I’ve tried it will not pair, even when I’ve reinstalled still won’t pair. Any ideas on what more I can try?

Hi there, @Caz279. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. 

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following:

1. Remove the Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Versa 2.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Versa 2.

Hi thank you for your help but I e done all this over the last 3 days, and it’s still not pairing. So I don’t get any notifications or know when my phone is ringing. Any other suggestions? I purchased the Fitbit on 12th Feb so it’s not very old. Thank you.

I had similar problems with my Versa 2. At first the microphone stopped working for text messages etc., then I stopped receiving all notifications on my Versa, then the date and time fell completely out of sync.

 

Going through normal troubleshooting of long-pressing the button to power cycle the Versa, turn Bluetooth on the phone off then on again, re-pair etc. all failed. The Versa 2 would get as far as giving me the 4 digit pairing code and then the Fitbit app would always fail to pair.

 

The only thing that fixed it was factory resetting the Versa. Open Settings, go all the way to the bottom and tap About, then go all the way to the bottom again to tap Factory Reset.
