Versa 2 won’t pause exercise

Once I have selected ‘exercise’ mode it works fine and records everything but the pause button doesn’t work to let me end the exercise. I am having to turn the whole watch off to get it back to home (clock) page? I have tried changing my clock face and it’s fully charged. Any ideas please?

The pause button isn't supposed to end the workout;  it pauses the workout; then you can tap the right arrow to continue, or the checkered flag to end.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yes, it won’t let me pause and therefore won’t come up with the flag to end the workout?!

Sorry, I misinterpreted.  I though you meant the Pause button does not end the exercise, not that tapping the pause button does not register at all.

Sorry, I have no idea on that.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Jessica-h and thank you for your assistance @JohnnyRow. I'm sorry to hear your exercise won't pause. 

 

I'd recommend restarting your Versa 2:

  • Press and hold the button* for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button.
