Hi

Have a new to me Versa 2. Wouldn't pair to Fitbit app so did a factory reset, now won't get past download app start up page but still won't pair. I have scoured these pages and tried many things including:-

1. The remove versa from Bluetooth list, force app stop,  shut down phone etc routine.

2. Removed app

3. Switched off phone

4. Deleted account and created a new one

5. Deleted app and reinstalled

6. Setup whilst charging

7. Setup whilst not charging

Any other ideas please. Phone is Samsung A53 so I believe is compatible as new.

Thanks

Hi @TopsyJake - did you try restarting the watch?

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the screen comes on.

Once you have the multi lingual setup screen go to the Fitbit App, click profile photo and "+ Set up a Device" to add it to your account and complete setting up the watch.

In case the watch has developed a fault go to the phone Bluetooth and do a scan and see if it sees your watch, but don't try pairing here, only the Fitbit App will do that, or you can even try looking for it. See What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device?

Hi
Yes tried all that a few times. The multilingual screen is the one I can't get past.

My Bluetooth can see Versa but as you say I can't pair it this way. Thanks for reply.

@TopsyJake- Did you try restarting the phone? If you have another phone or tablet you must turn those off or remove the watch Bluetooth entries from them.

Remove the Bluetooth entry from the phone also, logout of the Fitbit App, restart the phone [and watch again].

Login to the Fitbit App again and then try the setup.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Only device nearby was a kindle so switched Bluetooth off on that and went through it all again. Still nothing.

My phone can see it as a Bluetooth available device but via app it can't find it....

@TopsyJake- that is very strange.

Forget the Versa 2 again from Bluetooth on the phone,

and in the Fitbit App remove the Versa 2.

When you logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active window, clear the storage cache and force stop it and restart the phone. Restart the watch

Then try again - if this fails try chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

Thanks for all the help. I tried that. Spoke to support and basically they said it's defective, go back to seller. 😞
