I bought my first Versa 2 last summer for a big hike I was doing in July, 3 months later I was returning it for a replacement because the touch screen wouldn't respond anymore, no swiping, answering calls, etc... I have had the 2nd Versa for 3 months now and this one is having the same issues.
I have read over others having the same problem. I have reset it several times, even did a factory reset and nothing is making a difference. I feel like when I pay $200.00 for an item, I should not be having these types of problems... it should work.
I will take this one back to the retailer, but I won't be purchasing another Fitbit. Guess I'll have to look into other brands and devices. Very disappointed in Fitbit. Knowing that this is an issue they haven't found a correction for, they should recall the smart watch and issue everyone a credit for a new one once they have worked out all the bugs.
Just my opinion.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate the feedback and efforts in trying to fix this swiping issue. Also, it's sad to know that you will be returning the device. If in the future there is anything we can help you with, do not hesitate to post it.

I purchased a warranty on the device but because it's past the 30 days, I have to wait for approval to return it. If you can help me to get it working, in the meantime, I would appreciate it. I have already checked and I do not have any updates pending on my device. Touch still does not work so I can't swipe or respond to phone calls, etc...

Just got mine for Christmas. Up u til 2 weeks ago it was fine. Can’t swipe, turns off and reboots on its own now and won’t turn on when I touch. I don’t want to lose my data. Anything else I can do?
