Versa 2 won't sync anymore

Ever since the Fitbit system issues a few weeks ago where people couldn’t sync, my Fitbit hasn’t synced, the last time I was able to successfully sync is February14th.  I’ve tried just about everything:

  •  Restarting my phone and Fitbit
  • logging out of the app and back in
  • deleting the app and redownloading it
  • Unpairing my watch to the app and re-pairing it

with the last one, my app will recognize my Fitbit and tell me to enter in the 4 digit code, but then when I enter it, the app just perpetually says “connecting to Fitbit” and never actually works.
I got my Fitbit for Christmas and I’ve loved it so far, but the past few weeks have been beyond frustrating.

Hi there, @Leilanilei. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I suggest trying the following in the order listed (even if some of them you've tried already):

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
  • Once your Versa 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

yeah same here, so annoyed as  versa 2 i have is not very old! 4.5 months old

time wouldnt keep sync was my first sign!

yes i went through loads of switch on/off Bluetooth on/off and charging also, tried on another phone, and the same errors appeared!

so tells me the versa was the fault! its like after a while the Bluetooth either gets faulty or just turns off on the versa 2.

sooo annoyed, if it gets replaced this will be my last one as simply had too many issues with each fitbit i have owned

Done everything you have said. And my fit bit won't work.. was fine until 3 days ago. Never had a problem with it. Now it's either blank screen, unless I press the button in for 8 seconds, leave for 2, then press again for 8 seconds. I get the fit big logo, or the red message about not updating, I use this for bit everyday,  I track my health on this daily. And feel lost with it nit working for 3 days. I'm so stressed?  Why are we all having problems?

I'm having the same problem with mine. I had a versa 2 at first and that just randomly stopped working after 2 years then I got a versa 3 for Xmas and it paired right away and I had no issues with it until the past few months. It won't alert me to calls or messages and it just won't sync like it should & its extreamly frustrating I agree. Especially how expensive they are, I shouldn't have to replace it this often for te hnical reasons. And I've done all the troubleshooting it reccomended to do and when it finally popped up under my Bluetooth and I click on it and I get a (?) by it saying it needs an app but I already have the app for it!? I'm at a loss as what to do from here.
