I just upgraded to a versa 2 and Google pixel 5 from a blaze and Google pixel 2. I thought these upgrades would help with the Bluetooth connection issues I was having. However, they seem to still be happening. Why do the fitbit devices and Google pixels have issues connecting? Should I return my versa 2 and get the 3? Would they connect better? Getting really frustrated when I paid for this fitbit and don't get consistent features like text notifications.

Hi there @Alexispet4299, welcome to the Community Forums. We acknowledge the limitation we have on our part particularly on what you have experienced. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.
Before anything else, please note that your Google Pixel 5 is not yet officially supported by the Fitbit app which would explain the connectivity issues you running into. To see the list of our compatible devices, see Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported and does not meet the require OS we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.
If the syncing difficulties persist, please confirm that you've covered all troubleshooting steps provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I've been encountering the same issue. In each instance power cycling the my pixel and fitbit seems to resolve the issue which suggests the bottleneck is in the phones bluetooth controller or signal processing software.
