Hi Had my device for a couple of years. Wore it the first time to swim and it went off in the water. Fitbit will only offer a discount code. It's completely dead. There's water inside it. Has this happened to anyone else? Wondering if it dries out is there a way of getting it back on? Thanks.

@FLJ Welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 won't turn on. I'm also sorry to hear that it's not covered by the warranty.
I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
See you around.

Managed to get it back on after drying my versa2, but the screen lost its touch capability and the battery only lasted 2 hours afterwards. and my sense died completely after a swim. get other brands unless you want to use it on land only.

Thanks for your reply. Yes in my experience the Versa2 isn't as advertised. Great for workouts not for swimming. I've dried mine out but it won't come back on. I'll try another brand.
