Versa 2 won't update the time even after syncing

My fitbit is showing the wrong time. I have tried resyncing my fitbit 4 seperate times, completely deleting it from my app and reinstalling it and nothing has worked. What do I do.

HI @Username21234 - it would seem like a syncing issue. Restart the phone and also the watch and sync in the Fitbit App, this should fix the time. Occasionally a restart is required to restore the normal syncing process.

Hi there, @Username21234. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2. Thanks for making sure that your Versa 2 is syncing fine.

Note that the time on your Fitbit Versa 2 may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. If the time on your Versa 2 is still incorrect after syncing, I recommend changing your time zone to a complete different one, sync your watch, put the correct time and sync again. To change the time make sure you are following the instructions provided in the help article How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Hi, I've had the same issue with my Versa 2 for a while. The time is about 12 minutes off and my exercise shortcuts won't update, even though they are updated in the app. Syncing takes a long time, but I am able to sync my workouts into the app after tracking them on my fitbit. I've tried everything (restarting the phone, restarting the tracker, restarting the app, restarting bluetooth, deleting and setting up the tracker again) on numerous occasions and nothing worked.

I have a really dumb question I can’t remember how to turn my Fitbit off and on. Which button do I push? I am having the same problem my time is four hours and five minutes off.

Hi @jksun01 -  you can do it from the watch Settings menu, at the bottom, About, at the bottom, Shutdown. Wait 10 seconds and place it on the charger to restart it and charge it. It would be good to do the telephone also, so they are both refreshed.

If you have a Versa 2 like mine, hold down the side button until the fitbit logo appears. It takes a few seconds. Unfortunately, this didn't help me with my sync issues, though.

@cgyluk- did you do a Shutdown of the watch and restart the phone too at the same time ?

Yup, I've tried it all. Nothing works for me, unfortunately.
