Just about ready to smash it up with afit bit says uninstall fitbit connect or other apps that are trying to use fitbit base station
trying to update the latest tracker. Plugged it into my laptop with windows 10. The Fitbit app said I needed a Fitbit dongle. Bought a Fitbit dongle and it does nothing. Bought a Bluetooth dongle and that also does nothing.
initially it said “low energy Bluetoojbjkkjjhfgith isn’t compatible”. If I unplug the Fitbit charger and put in the Bluetooth dongle it seems to fix this and connects.
then keeps saying “uninstall fitbit connect or other apps that are trying to use fitbit base station“. I don’t have Fitbit connect or anything else that i know of using the Fitbit.
turned off Bluetooth on other devices. Same thing.
tried reinstalling-same thing.
Tried using the app though my iPod On latest iOS and using my phones personal hotspot. iPod is connected to personal hotspot. Fitbit is connected To iPod. First it wouldn’t connect to my hotspot to download. It connected for a few seconds then went back to “connecting”.
Then it’s saying “ensure your Fitbit is turned on”. It’s turned on. Shutdown Fitbit. Same thing.
tried Using the app on my phone but no wifi just my phones connection. Just spins on “connecting”.
wtf am I doing wrong?!
