Versa 3 Band Design Flaw

I love my versa 3 but unfortunately the band is not a good design at all.

Push the band in, here it click, wait for it to fall off at least two times a day.

I think they should consider going back to using pins to hold the bands in place.

I've tried both Fitbit make and aftermarket bands and it doesn't matter. It still falls off.

I check my wrist constantly during the day because that's a lot of money just to lose due to a defect.

I play volleyball and I can't even count my stats because it won't stay on my wrist. Considering sending it back. Which is upsetting because I really do love it.

I love my Versa 3. This is the 3rd Fitbit I've owned and I'm very disappointed in the bands. They should probably consider going back to the pins because this new method doesn't work very well.

Push the band in, hear a click and then wait for it to fall off at some point during the day.

I've tried aftermarket as well as Fitbit brands and it doesn't matter.

I'm constantly checking my wrist to make sure it's still there. There's a lot of money on my wrist to throw away.

I play volleyball and I can't even count my stats while playing because it won't stay on and I don't want to lose it.

To follow up on this, I got in touch with Fitbit support and they were extremely helpful. At first they suggested a band replacement. At that time I told them it's not that, it was the latch. I sent them a video showing me connecting the band as I normally should with no click, then showed me pushing the latch up, hearing a click. After that, they sent me a form to start the replacement process.

I'm giving it another chance and I hope this latch holds.

Fingers crossed but I still think the pins were a much safer way to hold the band in place.

I play volleyball indoor too and I am wearing my fitbit on my ankle. But I just read that it can false my heart data.
