Versa 3 Stopped working

I am disgusted. My Versa 3 is no longer working. I charged it yesterday, wore it for a couple of hours this morning, then it started getting really hit. I took it off and now it won't turn on. I've only had it for a few years. I was reading online that they only last two years. Two years? Are you kidding me. I will not be buying another Fitbit. Has anyone tried a Spade & Co?

Think there might be a bug or something. Mine has stopped working today too, less than a year old

Hi @CES3685 - although this doesn't resolve your issue the symptoms seem to be internal damage has occurred, which can be from water getting in.

The seals on some watches are not so robust and can fail over time.

Once it getshot don't attempt to charge it again as it is can be dangerous.

Thank you but my Fitbit has never been exposed to water. I'm thinking something with an update has destroyed it since many people are reporting the same thing happened on the same day. 😡

Same here! I charged my Versa 3 and when I took it off charge, a notice popped up for a "new update". Update completed, Fitbit logo - watch face....all normal. Then went on to sinc with iPhone Fitbit app when all starting going wrong. Screen went dark so I called customer service and they took me through some troubleshooting which ended in Fitbit blaming the failure on the watch face I was using. On the iPhone, customer service suggested a change in watch face, so we did. Still no settings icons and all scrambled pictures and verbiage. Fitbit said I had to buy a new watch but gave me a code for 35% off my next watch purchase because I was out of my warranty period. This failure was not my doing. This happened after Fitbit update process. They know it, you all know it. Today I attempted to "chat" instead of call and got nowhere. This is my family's 4th Fitbit watch purchase. So I get to Vote now, and my choice between another Fitbit or another watch company. What would you do? Looking for some feedback.

Go with another brand.  Fitbit/google will not admit it was their fault.  Why waste your hard earn money on a product that is CRAP!!! You can just read the comments where it has happened to tons of customers and all they offered you is 35% off their products.  My Fitbit Versa died on me when they did an update in July. August 2 came my Fitbit was toast thanks to them.  Never ever had a problem until then.  Offered me 35% off and HECK NO!!! WILL NEVER PURCHASED ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THEM. I am done with them. Shop around.

So glad to hear. I am having the same trouble and I do believe it has to do with the update. I have tried to reset to factory. Reinstall it and now it just stays at 63% complete which means it doesn’t complete  the  installation. So I have a useless watch.  I too am thinking of going with the Apple Watch. How do you like it.
